Have you been experiencing frequent clogs, or backups, perhaps a hidden problem in your sewer lines. Fortunately, we can help you locate the source of your problem quickly and accurately. With our sewer camera inspection service, we can look directly through your home’s sewer line , identifying any current problems and even presenting potential future problems.
Sewer camera services provide a comprehensive inspection of underground sewer lines using advanced camera technology. This non-invasive technique involves inserting a high-resolution camera attached to a flexible rod into the sewer line through access points. The camera captures real-time footage of the interior of the pipe, allowing technicians to identify issues such as blockages, leaks, cracks, and root intrusion. Sewer camera inspections enable proactive maintenance and accurate diagnosis of sewer line problems, helping to prevent costly repairs and minimize disruptions to the plumbing system.
The inspection will tell us the type of material your line is:
Cast Iron: Is most common in homes built before the 1990s. It’s found in the interior and exterior. Typical lifespan is 50-100 years.
Clay/Tile/Terrococta: Typically found on the exterior of the house but in some older homes it has been interior. This pipe has short sections and is vulnerable to root infiltration and cracking.
Transite/ACP: Found mostly exterior. Gasket joints. Typical lifespan is 75 years.
Orangeburg: Tar and paper. Very soft and brittle. Life span is typically 50 years.
PVC: Found in all new construction, interior and exterior. Typical lifespan is 100 years.
Before buying a new home, it is important to determine the integrity of the sewer line. A sewer camera inspection is an easy way to monitor the condition of your pipes before you make a final decision on your purchase or when considering future renovations. Knowing ahead of time when a collapsed pipe is imminent, or roots have infiltrated the line, will save you from a costly repair.
Dutra provides an extensive sewer inspection on houses customers are looking to buy. You’re given a video, reports, and estimate to remedy any current issues which can be used to negotiate with the sellers.
Epoxy pipe lining is a highly effective and cost-efficient solution for rehabilitating damaged or deteriorated pipes. By applying a specially formulated epoxy resin to the interior surface of the pipe, a new, seamless lining is created, restoring structural integrity and preventing future damage.
This process eliminates the need for pipe replacement, reduces downtime, and improves flow efficiency. Epoxy pipe lining is suitable for various pipe materials and offers long-lasting results, making it an environmentally friendly and durable solution for pipe rehabilitation.
Toilet is not flushing properly, dirty water overflows with clogged sinks in the restroom. In these situations, it is best to have a professional take care of the problem and while traditional methods of unclogging blockages sometimes work, they usually took a long time to complete and were often more trouble than it’s worth. Hydro-Jet cleaning is a new state of the art method of cleaning using high pressure streams of water to remove debris or build up in tanks and lines using extreme pressure instead of typical low powered pressure washers.
